About

ZAZZ is the youth division of Philly Dance Fitness, an award-winning independent studio established in 2010. Philly Dance Fitness had been offering sporadic series for toddlers and kids for years, and then launched a full-blown afterschool program in 2021, followed by a summer day camp. As those programs have evolved and expanded, it seemed natural to create a separate brand to encompass all of our youth offerings.

Zazz: feeling

1. A quantifiable amount of something special

2. Confidence, energy and dazzling style that you develop on stage

So what exactly does “Zazz” mean?
Pizazz! Dazzle! A combination of both! You know that feeling when your heart is racing and you just let it all out on stage? That’s ZAZZ. Plus, this name was a hit with our unofficial kid focus groups 😉

The ZAZZ mission: We believe that all children should have an opportunity to express themselves through the arts. Our dance, drama and musical theater programs are geared toward having fun and building confidence through self-expression.
