Calling all budding musicians!
Check out our next session of small-group piano classes, now offered THREE days a week! (Well, we’ll be using keyboards since we don’t have space for multiple pianos, but same concept.) Piano is the quintessential accompaniment for musical theater rehearsals, ballet classes and even classical concerts. It’s a perfect instrument for building a foundation in music – and especially fun for kids who want to sing along while they play!
No prior experience necessary for intro classes. Keyboards will be provided for use at the studio. It’s helpful to have one at home for practice, but not required.
Cost: $300 for the fall session (15 weeks total). Afterschool participants get 15% off!!
Continuing Piano – 1st-3rd graders
Learn to play piano through musical treasure hunts, movement games, coloring activities and more! This course will build on basic rhythms, note letter names, note values/rests, finger numbers and simple songs covered in previous lessons.
- Wednesdays at 4 pm
- Minimum of 1 year of piano experience required
Intro to Piano — K-2nd graders
Learn to play piano through musical treasure hunts, movement games, coloring activities and more! This course will cover basic rhythms, note letter names, note values/rests, finger numbers and simple songs.
Intro to Piano for Singers — 3rd-6th graders
From finger numbers to full scales, this beginner class will introduce students to reading music, identifying different rhythms and playing chords. And, of course, they’ll sing along as they learn! By the end of the series, students will be able to use basic chords to accompany themselves on various pop and Disney songs.
Class size is very limited to ensure individual attention. Register by August 15 to secure your spot!
Can’t make these times? Private and semi-private lessons are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and weekends. Contact us to schedule!
